There’s Something About Pink
Subashini De SilvaI don’t know what it is about pink… but every time I wear it, something inside me rises.
Maybe it’s because pink carries a kind of confidence we don’t talk about enough. It’s a colour that looks soft from a distance, yet holds a powerful, feminine strength up close. Pink doesn’t demand attention; she draws it in effortlessly, the way a woman does when she knows exactly who she is.
And as a CEO building my own path, I’ve realised something important:
true strength isn’t only in the sharp, masculine energy the world pushes on us.
Some of my greatest power came from embracing the things I once thought I had to tone down, my softness, intuition, femininity, warmth… and my love for high heels.
When I slip into my Rare Blush Snake Print heels, I feel a different kind of energy, elegant, bold, and quietly fierce.
And when I wear my Bright Pink heels, it feels like stepping into the brightest, most unapologetic version of myself. Fearless. Feminine. On fire.
Heels do that to me.
Not because they add height, but because they add intention.
They remind me that Every Step Is a Statement. A statement of who I am, what I’m building, and how far I’ve come.
Pink does the same.
It brings me back to my essence, the woman who can be soft and strong, gentle and powerful, romantic and ambitious all at once.
Pink teaches me to:
-
walk with CEO energy without losing my feminine glow
-
lead with clarity but live with heart
-
step boldly toward my dreams
-
choose confidence over fear
-
and honour every side of the woman I’m becoming
There’s something about pink that restores a woman’s power.
It whispers, “You can be confident and feminine. You can be bold and soft. You can lead, create, dream, and shine, all at the same time.”
And in the picture I’m sharing today, wearing pink… I felt every bit of that.
The CEO.
The creator.
The woman who loves her heels.
The woman who knows that Every Step Is a Statement.
Every woman deserves a pink moment.
Every Step Is a Statement.
